Minffordd (LBR), the mid-point on the Lower Bryandale Railway basks in the warmth of a late spring afternoon. The tracks are already becoming overgrown this year, but there 'might' be a train along sometime. This for me sums up a lot of what NG in the garden is about. I can spend ages looking at views like this, without needing a train in sight - "tracks standing mutely" to use Peter Bakke's phrase - and enough to suggest that the porter is enjoying an afternoon snooze between trains just round the corner. Taken after a running session in April 2009. Ian Stock
